Leading European Investment bank is seeking an excellent candidate to join their trade support team. The is a newly created position to support their ever growing EquitiesTrading business.
Responsibilities
• Support Proprietary Trading Desk and Equity Derivatives across Asia region, You will be responsible for trade bookings, position reconciliations, and handling ad-hoc queries for Cash Equity, CBs, Listed Futures and Options, DRs etc.
• Responsible for supporting management of day to day requirements across Equity Derivatives covering both with Business Partners and Clients, ensuring that there is appropriate staff and leadership within the team
• Manages HR issues and any other learning and people development for EDO staff, building an agile team that could support new products/business in an effective manner.
• Manage the development of key procedural improvements across Equity Derivatives MO to ensure maximum processing efficiency and reduced operational risk to Bank and Clients.
• Improve the performance of the teams as measured by clients
To be considered for this role you will require:
• A minimum 6 years experience of working in the middle office of an investment bank;
• A strong analytical mind with the ability to investigate issues with complex trades;
• Superior communication skills with experience of liaising with multiple parties
• The ability to multi task and work under pressure
• Ability to show initiative and is highly self-motivated. Good managerial skills and able to lead the team to success. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Demonstrated people management skills, broad product knowledge and product awareness.
• Specific understanding of Asian Equity markets and regulations therein
