Project / Programme Manager required by a leading Investment Bank based in Canary Wharf. The organisation are actively looking to expand their Emerging Markets business throughout Q4 of 2008 and into 2009. The Bank has grown massively over the last 18 months and remain one of the few organisations to actively grow in a slow market. The Programme Manager will be tasked with delivering all technology solutions to Emerging Markets hubs across the globe, notably: Moscow, Sao Paulo, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia

The operations in these markets are embryonic and before trading commences the technology infrastructure and the trading platforms need to be put in place. This will be the primary goal of the Programme Manager who will be responsible for significant budget management and headcount resources globally. This role offers excellent exposure to multiple asset classes, international travel and senior stakeholders within the business.

The candidate will need to have had exposure to a broad variety of financial instruments, the most advantageous will be to Interest Rate Derivatives and FX. They will also have to have the ability to operate at a very senior level within the business and deliver complex technology solutions to them. The Emerging Markets are looking to begin trading imminently and this requirement is therefore a priority.
