This is an opportunity for a C++ Software Engineer to improve the performance and reliability of systems used by a proprietary trading group

The role will entail you to understand the workflows within this trading desk, systems and monitors; Increase reliability and speed of system; develop new trading applications; be vigilant on performance across networks and profilers and assist in ongoing strategies to promote the systems.

This exceptional opportunity will require the following skills:

• Strong C++ skills – hardcore coder at embedded, multiprocessor for high performance systems
• System measurement and optimisation in a LINUX environment – use of profilers, C/C++ code optimization, networking and inter-process communication
• Strong LINUX shell scripting
• LINUX kernel and/or RT Linux programming
• Python programming and TIBCO would be advantageous
