An experienced Actuarial professional is required to develop, communicate and implement best practice product development, product management and product marketing practices across Asia for this expanding multinational.

This is a well-known international Life insurance organisation, which has a network of offices around the world. The Group has existing operations in Hong Kong, China and South East Asia, and is currently propelling its perpetual growth and looking for new markets and business development opportunities in Asia.

The role:

• Support proposed product developments under the International Product Review Committee process
• Develop strong working relationships with the product development and marketing teams in the Markets
• Act as the Market’s champion within Asian business units in relation to product developments from concept to post-launch review
• Develop an excellent understanding of local Market issues and challenges, competitive landscape and product portfolio
• Support the rollout and implementation of standardised and best practices to the Markets
• Facilitate the constant development of skills within the Markets, in relation to product and product development expertise and support the implementation of an effective product development process across Asia
• Various other ad hoc work relating to product development

The requirements:

• 10 years experience in Product Management, Actuarial, Distribution with corporate experience, Marketing in the Insurance industry or other relevant fields
• Actuarial or regional experience is an advantage, but the person ideally has significant practical experience of product developments (not just pricing)
• Multi-channel experience is an advantage
• Fluency in English is mandatory
