This International Investment Bank enjoys a leading position in Australia and within niche markets internationally. As a result of continued focus on risk management an opportunity has been created for an Australian Head of Market Risk reporting to the Global Head of Market Risk in London.

In this role you will enjoy a high profile across the organisation. You will engage with senior management and deal teams across all business units to identify relevant market risk issues and oportunities for growth. This will include partnering with businesses on transactions as they arise and where warranted work as an extension of the deal team. In addition, you will manage a team assisting in assessing, approval and reporting of all risks deriving from a diverse range of businesses.

In order to be successful, you will have a strong track record leading a market risk function either in an international bank or financial consulting firm. You will also have strong leadership and personal attributes in order to build effective working relationships.
