The role

• Macro credit research and strategy
• Research of global credit themes - economic drivers etc
• Trade and investment recommendations and strategy formulation
• Thought leadership pieces

The role will work as part of the credit and fixed interest team and very much form collaboration with the macro markets team and other key internal and external stakeholders.

The analysis generated by the role is expected to be the basis for strategy recommendations and the construction of investment portfolios. The role will also incorporate analysis and judgements about appropriate pricing for risk. Overtime, it is expected that this person will actively take responsibility for investment strategies throughout their life.

The person

• 1-4 years experience from a fund manager or bank including macro credit exposure
• Strong tertiary education in finance/economics and likely post grad including Masters/Grad and/or CFA
• Exceelent oral and written communication. This role will require stakeholder interaction and presentations
• Economic/research/credit analysis experience. Bond and loan pricing an advantage
• Credit derivatives experience will be highly regarded
