Experienced Sales and Marketing professional is required to form part of the Asia Pacific team operating out of the recently established Singapore office.
The local team will operate as an extension of the existing Global Commodities team that is currently responsible for coal, freight and oil trading.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing the Asia Pacific marketing and origination portfolio as part of the company's Coal & Freight desk to optimise profitability.
Introduce the company to major coal buyers and producers and originate deals according to prevailing market opportunities. Evaluate market intelligence and produce documentation.
You will have had significant exposure and experience of operating within a trading company in order to successfully carry out and execute the tasks. Broad exposure to the commodity industry beyond coal and freight, with an understanding of energy, shipping and oil would be desirable. Willingness to travel regularly within the region and to Europe.
