An exciting, challenging and rare opportunity has arisen to join the Finance function of a private equity investor in London's West End.Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, the Assistant Financial Controller vacancy will offer the next step of responsibility for a Management Accountant
The main Accounting responsibilities of the role will include:
- Maintaining of books for UK companies on Sage Line 50
- Preparation of full monthly management accounts and reporting for all group companies
- Production of holding company monthly consolidation
- Variance analysis on group and individual results
- Cash-flow reporting and forecasting
- Production of VAT returns and P11Ds (training provided)
- Production of Corporation tax returns for UK companies and Funds
- Ad-hoc requests from the Financial Controller.
The role requires a diligent, hard-working, organised and accurate professional due to the level of responsibility offered. A high level of communication skills will be required due to the small size of the Finance function.
Excel skills to the level of Pivot tables, Graphs and Sum Ifs are also required.
Your background does not have to be from from Financial Services but a desire to work in FS will at least be needed, as a basic knowledge of the industry will be required.
