The Challenge 

Working in the energy sector this role will involve working with the Regulatory bodies in both the Republic and North of Ireland to ensure that all parties operating in the market have licence and agreements obligations fulfilled. The Senior Regulatory Analyst will work alongside internal teams in the regulatory division of the company including economists and engineers while also liaising with government ministers and other key stakeholders and partners in the electricity sector on the island of Ireland.
Main responsibilities will include:

•  Leading and coordinating all interaction with both regulators (North and South).
• Keep senior management and staff updated on all regulatory developments and commercial issues in the sector.
•  Provide input on Energy Regulator, Government and EU consultations regarding sector policy, market and commercial discussions / decision making.
•  Lead defined processes on pricing submission process, regulatory reporting, licence and agreement compliance.
•  Keep abreast of industry developments both in Ireland and across Europe.

The Candidate

The Candidate will be degree qualified (preferably in Engineering / Science) with at least five years experience working in a regulatory / compliance role. The Candidate will have prior experience working with and developing strong relationships with Regulatory Authorities. Prior experience and knowledge in the electricity sector will be desirable.
