The ED/VP of Product Development will join a group that is responsible for developing, launching and managing innovative personal banking services tailored towards affluent and high net worth clients. The current array of banking services includes, bank deposits, Certificates of Deposit, multi-currency deposits, debit cards, and credit cards, checking, online bill pay, and direct deposit. The ED/VP of Product Development plays a leadership role in the evaluation and launch of new deposit products and banking services. Responsibilities will include: • Identify and evaluate new deposit gathering opportunities • Recommend new banking products and services that support and grow the existing banking service offering • Prioritize and size opportunities in terms of revenue, deposits and service • Lead the implementation of initiatives and manage resulting businesses • Develop and manage marketing campaigns of new and existing banking services products • Track progress, metrics and financials of opportunities and marketing campaigns The desired candidate will possess strong problem solving and analytical skills, be a strong communicator, demonstrate leadership and initiative on projects and work well in a fast paced work environment. Ten or more years of relevant work experience is required. Financial services experience, with a private bank or retail bank developing banking strategies, products and marketing campaigns is required. Strategy consulting experience and/or experience working in a strategy group at a leading financial services firm is desired.
