This is a unique opportunity to direct and lead a team of credit risk managers responsible for providing and maintaining high quality credit risk assessment and ongoing monitoring of Hedge Fund clients and exposures in Western Europe.
Responsibilities:
Undertake credit analysis and review of Hedge Fund and related clients (i.e. prime brokers and other leveraged vehicles), and transactions.
Participate and lead originator and transaction level due diligence, providing risk analysis and recommendations for new transactions to Credit Committee
Develop and manage a team of highly skilled and motivated professionals
Credit approval authority and risk management / monitoring for Western Europe transactions, and assisting the FI Credit team in CEEMA for any related exposures.
Maintain formal and informal networks of contacts with regional regulatory, governmental and financial institutions ensuring that we remain close to developments with a potential impact on the regional business model
Manage any delegated cost centre within budget.
Experience:
Comprehensive knowledge of the Hedge Fund market in general.
Management responsibility in some form, strength in working as a committed team leader.
Capability of engaging constructively with the Business while retaining the ability to stand their ground.
