The role

The successful candidate will work closely with investment professionals, in order to keep informed of investment themes, processes and changes. They will have experience in writing market and fund commentary, RFP content, having worked closely with fund managers and want to develop their communications experience into more engaging areas. They will have a sound understanding of markets, products and investment processes across a number of asset classes.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Attend regular fund manager and investment team meetings to keep informed of investment themes and portfolio performance.

• Prepare monthly and quarterly ‘flash’ commentary for internal customers and to support regular fund reporting. Work with business units to ensure content is appropriate, and to improve the quality of the report content we provide to clients.

• Take responsibility for and assume a leadership role in the delivery of content for various quarterly emails and other newsletters.

• Work with colleagues on Marketing Team on revisions to fund factsheets and other reporting collateral.

• Take ownership of project to provide sales collateral to support business development teams across Europe.

• Write and produce communication and sales support materials, from brochures and presentations, to placed articles and research papers.

• Liaise with performance teams and investment teams to source performance and attribution to support communications material.

• Work with Communications department in London to actively generate a range of PR messages to take to market

Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar role.

• Strong project management skills.

• Attention to detail

• Excellent communication and writing skills.

• Good negotiating skills, particularly with investment teams to source accurate information.

• Willingness to embrace all parts of the business.
