A leading Investment Bank is looking to recruit a Financial Controller with strong stock borrowing and lending experience.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Financial control and reporting of the Equity Markets and Global Securities Finance business.

• Financial Control of the PeopleSoft general ledger.

• Account opening and journal approval.

• Liaise with Market Risk and Product Control to ensure completeness and accuracy of the ledger.

• Analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting.

• Review monthly balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations.

• Ensuring controls are maintained in line with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) requirements.

YOUR SKILLS:

• Qualified Accountant

• At least years PQE

• Experience of Equity Markets including Equity Swaps, CFDs and Stock Borrowing/Lending

• Excellent system skills including Excel and Access

• Gloss and Global 1 experience preferable

• Need to hit the ground running

• Good verbal and written communications skills with the confidence to speak to all levels of staff
