Manage all client service activity for BNY Mellon Pension Services (BNYMPS). BNYMPS is part of BNY Mellon Asset Management and works closely with BNY Mellon Asset Servicing. BNYMPS primarily provides integrated services to defined benefit plan sponsors.
Management responsibilities include supervising a team of Client Service Officers and support staff located in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia. Incumbent is required to have extensive knowledge of defined benefit plans, trust and custody services, systems, processes, ERISA and related legal issues. Candidate will be actively involved in developing business strategy and initiatives.
The Director of Client Service is a member of BNYMPS senior management and the BNYMPS liaison to Bank of New York Mellon asset servicing and asset management groups. Incumbent is responsible for all existing account servicing and new account activity. Additional responsibilities include managing back office and customized arrangements with various BNYM Asset Management subsidiaries and shared selling groups. Actively involved in the development of sales proposals, client presentation materials and fee arrangements.
Minimum 10 years asset servicing experience.
Minimum 3 years supervisory/management experience.
