Serve as relationship management contact for selected family office clients, providing client guidance on investment policy, portfolio implementation, wealth transfer strategies, charitable efforts, real estate activities, family governance, heritage, and legacy matters.

Successful candidate will lead the firm in the development and acquisition of new family office client relationships sourced from personal network or through existing client referrals. Will also provide leadership to the firm in achieving its strategic goal of becoming the best family office in the country. Duties: • Relationship Management o Establish strong personal relationship with family office clients in order to provide customized advice and be accepted as trusted advisor. o Provide advise with regard to generational wealth transfer strategies, investment policy design, portfolio management, charitable administration, and family legacy matters. o Effectively communicate the family office process and the investment process. o Proactively solve client problems. • Client Development o Develop new client relationships with individuals or families with assets in excess of $25m. o Provide leadership and support to advisors on process, materials, and methods for growing the assets under management. o Understanding and practice in role of being a trusted advisor rather than a corporate marketer. • Firm Development o Provide strategic leadership to the company on its growth, direction, service suite, business process, etc. Work closely with CEO in order to understand all three of the necessary roles –caring for clients, developing clients, creating the business to serve the clients. o Capacity to become a partner and to be a candidate for eventual leadership as CEO. Qualification o 20 plus years in the wealth advisory business in a client facing role, preferably a portion working in a family office. o Commitment to working in a team environment whereby client support is provided according to skill set and expertise. o Experience serving as a trusted advisor. o Proven ability to develop new family client relationships. o Excellent investment credentials, knowledge, and experience, including education and regulatory degrees. Knowledgeable of reporting and administration matters. o Excellent presentation, writing, and communication skills. o Proficiency working on Microsoft office, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. o Interest and experience in working in a small, independent entrepreneurial firm rather than a large corporate structure.
