This is a new position to join the Monitoring team in Madrid, part of the growing Structured Finance division.

Main responsibilities will include:

Review of outstanding European RMBS transactions, in particular Spanish.
Working with other analysts and transaction parties to ensure timely receipt of data for the rating reviews.
Reviewing legal documentation and performance reports to form a view on the likely effect on ratings.
Running and evaluating model results.
Preparing and defending rating recommendations to committee.

Qualifications/experience required:

BSc (or equivalent) in a financial, mathematical or statistical related degree discipline.
Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential for this role as this role requires excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Fluency in other European languages would be an advantage.
Previous CMBS or related monitoring experience is required for this role.
Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Access and ideally VBA)
You will be highly organised and efficient and able to work to tight deadlines.
Strong attention to detail is essential for this role.
