Miami, known as the 'Magic City' is one of the youngest cities in the U.S. It has become one the biggest tourist destinations in the USA. Miami is as culturally diverse as any other big American city and offers much to see and do in some of the finest weather around. Miami is best known for its skyscrapers white-sand beaches. But there is more to this area than just the beach; several neighborhoods are famous on their own merits like Little Havana, Coral Gables, and Coconut Grove, to name just a few. Just southwest of Miami lies the Florida Keys, the best scuba diving spot on the USA. This role will be located in the Operational Department. The primary role will be and internal audit function. You will undertake special project work, or line responsibilities in emergencies, as agreed by the Group Head of Operational Control. You will also provide an internal consultancy service that may be used by management, particularly in the areas of specialist knowledge and provide independent advice. You will also provide objective assurance to senior management, the Board and the Audit Committee on the effectiveness of the companys risk management, control and governance processes. Responsibilities cover all companies and locations in the Latam region. Knowledge and understanding of all business aims, functions and operations across the organisation is therefore necessary. This will involve travel throughout the Latin American Region. It is envisaged that the sucessful candidate will hold an ACCA, ACA, CPA or equivalent qualification. You will need to be fluent in both English and Spanish to a business level. Local US knoweledge is of benefit but not essential. The client is willing to provide a US visa for non US citizens if necessary.
