Our client is a leading European Asset Management with an unparalleled reputation across the Asia Pacific region. It provides companies, institutional clients and high-net-worth clients with investment banking, private banking and asset management services worldwide. With the continued growth of the organization, the need has arisen to recruit high caliber individual to join them. Reporting to the Asia Pacific Head of Operations, you will assume overall management of in-house fund operation services in the Hong Kong office, which covers fund accounting, securities settlement, unit trust administration, and middle office. You will be responsible for the overview of fund operation budget and department organization issues for Hong Kong office so as to provide support to other regional offices e.g. staff movement, segregation of duties between fund operation and other teams. In addition, you will also be responsible for the planning and development of fund operation resources – human and equipments – to meet the HK and other regional offices’ goal and requirement as well as daily management of the HK team to ensure timely delivery of services to products and to ensure proper internal control during production process. To be considered, you should be a degree holder with a minimum of 15 years solid experience in mutual funds administration, including registration of new clients and distributors, dealing, settlement, handling clients’ enquiries, handling subscriptions, redemptions, switching and settlement. 5 years experience in supervisory role in managing similar fund operations function. Sound experience in working with outsourced services providers like transfer agencies and fund administrators. Knowledge in the order flow and settlement of structured investment products and fixed income products is preferred. Strong analytical skills. Customer focus. Willing to work under pressure and long hours. Excellent communication in English and Cantonese.
