Our client is a leading emerging markets investment bank, who have global reach on the ground in 19 countries outside Africa.They provide commercial and investment banking services to large corporates, financial institutions and international counterparties, focused on emerging markets across the world.

Prime Purpose Of This Role:

  • To generate US$5mio in the first year building to US$10mio by 2010
Main Responsibilities:

• Working as part of a team of 4

• Proprietary position taking and assisting with cover for the client traders during holidays and absences

• Able to assess, manage, initiate and take opportunistic risk across the spectrum of FX, spot, forward, option markets.

• Able to run a book and quote FX options prices to clients and financial institutions in TRY & RUB.

 Experience/Qualifications Required:

• Candidate will have a demonstrable track record with strong experience in recognised institution.

• Proprietary and client trading of G7 and EM FX spot, forwards and options.

• Ideally also experience and track record of trading in G7 and/or EM interest rates.

Proven risk leadership and broad based understanding financial markets, macro trends and implications for financial flows and asset class movements.
