A successful proprietary trading firm seeks a lead Java Developer with at least 5 years experience building trading systems and applications.

- At least 5 years of experience as an application developer with a proven record of successful deliveries within a high performance, low latency environment

- Expert level Opject Oriented design and development experience

- Significant knowledge and experience of J2EE and client side Java technologies (Swing/AWT)

- Previous experience developing real time applications specific to trading systems

- Knowledge of various financial products: Fixed Income, Commodities, Equities, and Market making

- Experience and strong understanding of agile software development

- Minimum of BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or similar discipline
