The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to collaborate with a highly successful quantitative trading desk, working with cutting edge technogies/infrastructure.  The successful candidate will assume responsibility for executing trades using automated algorithms, adjusting trading strategies based on market conditions, researching information relevant to trading Energy markets, and working with financial engineers on improving tools and strategies.  

A natural quantitative skill set is required for such a position and as such the candidate should have experience working with large data sets and a strong understanding of time series analysis. The usual technical requirements are present for this hire and the applicant should be well versed in R, S+, Matlab although C++ is preferred.  

Asset class is irrelevant – However candidates with a background of FX or Energy would be preferred.  Candidates who are interested in statistical analysis, game theory, and model optimization are encouraged to apply.  Ideally candidates should have at least 2 years experience in a risk taking position.
